Yogscast Dairy Drive!

As a Yognau(gh)t of many years, and living in the same country as them, I figured I should do my bit for charity!

Isn’t it the dream? To be able to work and play at the same time? >_< While it can’t be achieved for everyone, at least we can watch those who do over the internet!

The Yogscast have always been amazing and the commentary… let’s say it varies from Simon’s dwarf driven rambles to the real guy, the best guy, Sips_ himself.

If anybody needs credit for putting their popularity and publicity to good use, it’s them, especially because of the highly entertaining livestreams they run! (And fitting for the night owls who are still up at 1, because they run for most of the night!)

So, if you want to do one good thing for charity this Christmas, and you particularly enjoy watching let’s plays of games such as anything from Zoo Tycoon to Left for Dead, then I would recommend checking out the Yogscast on YouTube! (Who are not sponsoring this in anyway, though a job at Yogtowers, if anyone in Bristol can ever find it, would be faaaantastic.)

The 104th Training Division… Dances

While I’m clearly on a SnK run, I guess I better put this on as well.

I mean, when do we get a legitimate reason to listen to High School Musical songs? When it’s in another parody video!

This time, everyone’s in it.. dancing together, it’s pretty amusing all in all.

And for the fangirls, there are some ships there, dancing together. Personally, all I saw was Ereri. Especially at the end, come on, biased much? (But it was glorious.)

 Tell me this isn’t canon. Just try. -_-

It was funny, and made me want to dance too, what can I say? They looked very sophisticated and debonair in dresses and suits!

Attack on Dust

Sometimes, you wonder why you love a certain character so much… then a video like this comes along.

Lance Corporal Levi may have a potty mouth and makes toilet jokes all the time, but you have to admit, his OCD tendencies are amusing at times… Just like the numerous Photoshopped picutures of him opening the windows in his cleaning gear…

Wow… just wow…

And so, someone decided to make a parody of the anime opening. A pretty spectacular parody if I say so myself! The song, the sheer amount of cleaning cloths and dusters…

May I add that when Eren is reading the SnK manga and Heichou’s outside, cleaning the windows? Their relationship in a nutshell!

I don’t even know anymore, except that Season 2 of the anime could not come any sooner – just like Season 2 of Free!, the fangirls are ready, and Tumblr is sooo, ready for new content.

Fangirling about Shingeki no Kyojin aside, this is an amazing song. Played by two people whose piano skills are out of this World.

Of course, this theme is perfect for SnK regardless. The amount of ass kicking involved suits this adrenaline filled song entirely. Mostly done by the almighty Corporal Levi-sama. And maybe Eren as a Titan. Maybe.

And generally, a short but hot guy with this unexplainable attractive haircut that pwns all.

(At this point, I realised I should do separate posts about all my fandoms before my brain explodes with their sheer awesomeness.)

Not even kidding. I personally have Grade 8, which already stretch me too thinly and I can’t even explain how that miracle happened, but only that it did. However, we’re talking about another level entirely. When you reach this level, it’s almost as if you’ve achieved the status of a deity. Animenzzz and Tehishter. You guys deserve a -sama after your name.

Technically, this is a challenging piece of music for sure. The duet also means it’s not easy having to cooperate with another person, tempo wise – it’s a tough job. Then, let’s not forget that this song is sung with a whole host of guitars, drums etc. etc. You’re doing this on a piano. All of it. And it sounds good. Scratch that. OUT OF THIS WORLD, AMAZINGLY AWESOMESAUCE.

Handshake Time!

A part of Summer is always spent in solitude. At least, for me, it is. Why? I believe that one of the purposes of the Summer holidays is not only to relax, but also to give you time away from your friends.

Now, I’m not saying I don’t have any, or hate my friends. But sometimes, you have to think about how you spend most of your time with them, schoolwork and teachers. It’s a pretty depressing thought, actually. -_-

So, in order to combat that, I spend a lot of time alone during holidays. At home, with the internet. It’s also how I’m currently communicating with a friend who’s going to a different school for 6th form than I am this September (basically next week). 😦

Gyaa~ Back to the video! I personally never had ‘handshakes’ with friends. Is it more of a boy thing than a girl thing? *looks around for sexism activists* Instead, we have a plethora of inside jokes. Maybe it’s because we lack the creativity to make up such greetings rather than just going straight for the hug? Guys are against PDA between friends?

Clearly, I don’t know the answer, but I’m going about this in a Ryan-Higa way by making you read all this before getting to the crux of the video – and why it’s so good. The Cup Song! >_< It’s a parody of the Cup Song! And it’s better! Also, showing everyone all the variations of handshakes… I never knew there were so many! >_<

Now, I just need to find a friend to practise this with. Gosh it looks complicated. Maybe I should just stick to hugs. Just, fyi, the standard hug should be about 3 seconds long. Any more, and it’s going to get awkward reeeal quick.

I think Charlie is losing it

I don’t think there’s another person like Charlie on YouTube these days. I also think he’s suffering from it.

Oh Charlie – you’re treating it like a job. I thought making videos was an interest! Stop trying so hard and analysing everything!

That cereal video is great you know, because it’s you, and I don’t know about anyone else, but I just miss Charlie. Any Charlie is good Charlie.

I watched this a while ago. I can’t believe I was conflicted. How will I face my fellow Ravenclaws after nearly choosing science over magic?
